This style is designed with a little extra room in it. If you are between sizes and like things more fitted you could size down. 

The optional belt can be used to style the long blouse many different ways. Slits in the side seam were designed in order for you to be able to cinch in the waist in the front while letting the back hang straight for a cute and unique look. You can also tie the belt in a bow tie around the neck ( a personal favorite) or leave it off all together.
